we all insulate from the cold, in some form or fashion.
some prefer a nice, down jacket of apathy, paired with a warm mug of denial.
others prefer the occasional bright-white heat that comes from hyper productivity.
but, of what use is it to keep the cold at bay if it only isolates the you from the us?
and what would it take for us to abandon this absurd pretense?
this artificial warmth.
could you be convinced to drop that which insulates to the floor?
to feel warmth of a smile - the heat of your eyes locked-in with those of another - the calm, comfort of connection.
to keep each other warm.
